Christmas and Videos
Hello Team,
I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season! During this time of year, your focus and priority should be on family and taking some down time. Keep it all in perspective. Skipping a workout here or there won't hurt your season, and when it's time to flip a switch and pick up the training, you'll be happy you took advantage of this time of year. Keep me in the loop if you know ahead of time that you'll be traveling or have family in town and need some extra time off. For those of you who have early season races planned, this will all change VERY soon so live it up!
The second thing on the agenda is video analysis. Especially for my non-Colorado-based athletes, if you guys have a way of getting a buddy to take videos of you that you could send me, that would be excellent. This is a good time to check in on our technique and I'd love to help you do it. We can learn and make adjustments from all these types of videos: strength training form, swimming (under or over water), run technique, and bike setup.
